Farrah Sit
With the ethos “owning less and owning well” designer Farrah Sit focuses creating strikingly simple designs that speak to their intended purpose. A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design, Sit spent several years designing the tabletop collection for Calvin Klein, as well as having created collections for Vera Wang and Kim Seybert. For her own line, she focuses on using natural materials such as wood, ceramic, and metal to create furniture, light fixtures, and tabletop pieces. A selection of her own porcelain designs appeared at the “Handled with Care” exhibit during London Design Week in 2007. Sit's work reflects an exacting attention to detail coupled with a kind of a quiet minimalism.
