Robert Morris
Robert Morris is a Brooklyn based designer, originally from Dublin, Ireland. He arrived in New York, spring 2002 shortly aftercompleting a post graduate diploma in architecture from the University of East London. He has worked as a designer for New York based Architects including Rafael Vinoly and Santiago Calatrava.
Robert's interested in the expression of strategies that formally and Programmatically unify contrasting elements into a coherent whole;
The composition of space and materiality either temporal or ephemeral while arriving at forms often bound by the specific requirements and express the elements that informed them.
At this time Robert is developing a conceptual ‘object based’ language that he’s expressing through furniture design.
