Tatum's Lounge is an experimental yet functional chair that explores the structural possibilities of using reclaimed piano keys as a building material. Weighing only 6 pounds the chair can hold 25 times it's weight (150lbs). The name of the piece is a play on the word Lounge, referring both to a place in which jazz piano music is played, and the semi-reclined style of seating. The piece is also an homage to the music of the great Art Tatum, born 1909. One of a kind. Currently in the showroom.
