Welcome to VOOS
Furniture occupies a special place in our lives. VOOS is a place to celebrate it.
There are so many stories we would like to say about the way furniture is designed, made and used. And yet somehow it just comes down to how it feels, how furniture becomes silent friends in our homes. That is what keeps inspiring us everyday and that is what we would like to share with you.
Curiously we have discovered that innovation in furniture comes from the fringe, from small enclaves like Brooklyn and other “design farms” all over the world. So we wondered what would happen if people had access to a selection of world-class furniture, conceived and manufactured by designers they could access to and get to know. Would that not create a powerful bond and make the whole experience of buying and owning furniture more meaningful and personal? That is the story of VOOS.
VOOS is a condensed capsule of locally grown design produce, always fresh, packed with energy and creativity. We are located in a 1,500sf space at the heart of Williamsburg in Brooklyn. We are not a showroom, a store, a gallery or a venue. We are all the above and also a design hub, a center for events, openings and parties to launch new creations and new ideas.
